Gary R. Paynter 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2006. Gary was born in New Richmond, Ohio on May 3, 1935. He was retired from Consolidated Freightways Trucking, was a member of the Teamsters Local #135, also the American Legion Broad Ripple Post #3 and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A true hunter, fisherman, Ebayer, Independent and loving man. Thank you for what you've meant to all of us. We love you. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Loretta L. (Dugan) Paynter; children, Doug Paynter (Rebecca), Barb Woods (Chip), and Lynn McMinn; grandchildren, Jana McMinn, Zoe, Ella, and Abby Woods, and Brandon Crain; and extended members of the family, John, Pam, Jordan, and Andrea McCarrel, and Ron Bland. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th St., Indianapolis. Visitation will also be held in the Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia, Ohio on Saturday, July 8th from 4 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Gary?s life will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
