Ann Bickel

Ann J. Bickel, 90, Carmel, formerly of Jasonville, passed away Sunday 8, 2006. She was born on February 3, 1916 to the late John and Rosa Bucka Cichon. The last year and a half, Ann lived in her Summertrace apartment, Carmel, IN, to be near her family. Ann is survived by her children; Mickey (Bob) Adams of Fort Myers, FL, John (Susan) Bickel of Flora, IN, Elaine (Tom) Green of Carmel, IN, Patti (Larry) Mayfield of Sullivan, IN and Cathy Hamilton of Salem, IN; daughter-in-law, Rhea Dawn Bickel of Rockport, IN; sister, Helen (Lester) Evenson of Rockford, IL; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Richard W. Bickel (1981); daughter, Dixie Lee Studebaker (1982) and son, Richard D. Bickel (2005). Ann was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
