ink Lime. Though Eric settled in Indianapolis to raise his family, he never forgot his Kansas roots as an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and KC Royals. Eric leaves behind many, many friends and was the favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. Eric's last selfless act was to donate his organs so that others could live and thrive. Through this generous donation, he helped or saved over 70 lives. Eric was preceded in death by his parents Connie and Hank Volk and sister Virginia Volk. He is survived by his wife, Becky, and daughter Sarah Volk; brothers John Volk (Kim), Dieter Volk (Laurie), Dick Volk (Becky) and sister, Beth Volk; in-laws Jane Boatman Geller (Greg), Scott Boatman (Cindy), Matt Boatman (Wendy) and 18 nieces and nephews. The calling will be held at Leppert Morturary Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, June 8, 2015. The funeral will be held at St. Pius X, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, at 11am on Tuesday June 9, 2015.
