CARRIE SCOTT MUSCATINE, Iowa - Carrie Jean 'Carebear' Wiemers Scott, 44, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her home after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Jones will celebrate the service. Casket bearers will be Kevin Scott, Jacob Smith, Dan Wiemers, David Scott, Chad Behnke, Jimmy Hoover, and Adam Schmelzer. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Unity Point Hospice of Moline, Illinois. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Kevin Scott of Muscatine; her children, Jacob Smith, Katelynn Smith, and Kevin Jeffrey 'KJ' Scott, all of Muscatine; her parents, John and Connie Wiemers of Muscatine; one brother, Daniel Wiemers and wife, Megan, of Muscatine; her grandmother, Marjorie Wiemers of Eldridge; and her nieces and nephews, Maddilynn, Abigail, and Emma McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel and wife, Madison, and their daughter, Ryland, and Alexis, Nicolas, and Aaden Wiemers; a special niece, Danielle Williams; and her best friend, Carissa Hoekstra.
