Steven C. Anderson

Steven C. Anderson, age 61, of Forked River died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at home. Born in Montclair, Mr. Anderson grew up in Denville and lived in West Milford for many years before moving to Forked River in 1996. Prior to retiring, he was a truck driver affiliated with the Teamsters Local 560 for many years, and also had a roofing and siding business. Mr. Anderson was a music lover, and was an accomplished guitarist. He played in several bands throughout his lifetime. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Lisa Potter and her husband Jim; his son Eric S. Anderson, all of Forked River; his parents, William and Eleanor Anderson of Largo, FL; his brother Peter Anderson and his wife Debbie of Moneta, VA; his nieces Brittany and Kayla, and his nephew Keith. Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the funeral home, with a funeral service at 3:45pm. [more]
