On the school board until the system consolidated in 1959. One of the founders of the New Berlin Toastmasters Club in the 1960's. He served on the New Berlin Park and Recreation Department for 23 years, serving as President for 18 years. Designed and wrote the pamphlets for NB summer recreation programs. He designed commemorative ash trays for the Boy Scouts presented as awards (hey... it was the 60's). In 1987, Jack was made Citizen of the Year in New Berlin. Member of the Gymanfa Ganu association of Wisconsin, designed their posters for the Welsh Hymn - Singing groups that met at Presbyterian Churches around Wisconsin several times a year.
