James Andrew Maxwell

James "Jim" Andrew Maxwell, of Sunrise, Florida, passed away on June 9, 2016 at Westside Regional Hospital in Plantation. He was 69 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 28, 1946, son of the late Clinton L. Maxwell, Jr. and Virginia Mae (Griener) Maxwell. He was a resident of South Florida for more than forty years. Jim was a member of The Fort Lauderdale Magic Society and was well respected in the magician community. He was employed at Rechtien International Trucks, Inc; in Miami, for over 20 years. He Is survived by his three children, Jill Maxwell, Leah Kitzinger, Mathew Maxwell, two grandchildren, Jason and Carly Kitzinger, two sisters, Kathy Ann Dodson, Virginia Lynn Corley and brother, Thomas Maxwell, and was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton L. Maxwell, III. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, June 21st from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie, FL 33324.
