Catherine Sue Hollingsworth, 64, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away June 17, 2016 at University of Iowa Hospital. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 4:00-7:00 pm, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 23, 10:30 am, also at Fry's. Inurnment will be held on Friday, June 24, 2:00 pm at Memorial Park in Davenport, Iowa. A memorial fund in Cathy's honor has been established. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Cathy's life journey began on January 11, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa, where she was born to Edward and Grace (Wethington) Clements. She attended Bennett High School, graduating with the class of 1970. Cathy married the love of her life, Rick, in January of 1981. Cathy was blessed with 5 children in her lifetime: Tina, Hillary, Travis, Nathan and Neal. Cathy's employment years were spent as the co-owner of Hollingsworth's Floor Covering. Established in 1957, Cathy joined the business, working alongside her husband since 1981. Surviving Cathy are her husband, Rick; daughters, Tina Green and Hillary (Josh) Sedam; sons, Travis (Jennifer) Clements, Nathan (Amanda) Hollingsworth, Neal (Cassie Engler) Hollingsworth; sisters, Brenda (Sid) Brown, Wanda Ossman, Ellen (Les) Proctor, Gracie Gritton, Paula (Michael) Ruefer, family friend raised as her sister, Shirley Swingle; brother, Edward (Shelly) Clements; grandchildren, Logan (Savannah), Clayton, Sara, Madelyn, Nia, Olivia, Zeddicus, Izabella, Devin, Trever; great grandchild, Laney. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Candy Clements; nephew, great nephew and brother-in-law.
