Brian James Denny

Brian James Denny (57) of Sun Prairie, WI passed away suddenly on June 26, 2016. Brian was born on March 5, 1959 to Dorothy McDonald Denny and James W. Denny. He grew up in the Menlo, Iowa area and graduated from Guthrie Center High School where he enjoyed excelling in a variety of sports including wrestling, where he started as a freshmen as well as a member of a record-setting football team. He worked in the insurance industry for many years before retiring. Brian always enjoyed making others laugh by telling a good story or one of his favorite jokes. Brian is survived by his wife Maureen of Sun Prairie, daughter Crystal Tjeerdsma (Craig) Des Moines IA, son Kyle (Melissa) Denver, CO, daughter Courtney, Sun Prairie, WI, and three well-loved grandchildren, Carson and Oscar Tjeerdsma of Des Moines and Hadley Denny of Denver, CO. Brian is also survived by his father James Denny and wife, Norma of Guthrie Center, a brother Don Denny (Sue) of Olathe, KS and several nephews and nieces.
