On Thursday 30, June 2016, Shayna ascended home to be with God and the loved ones of our past. This was her way of gaining the knowledge that was necessary in order for her to get into the best possible medical school to become a neurologist. When she wasn't busy studying for medical school, Shayna enjoyed perfecting her culinary skills acquiring knowledge and experience from her favorite chefs via The Food Network. She loved to show off her talent for cooking; mostly making dishes for her Grandma Louise. Shayna wore her emotions on her sleeve and there was never a question of how she was feeling. She laughed hard, screamed loud and smiled BIG. Her smile was both beautiful and infectious. Shayna was very selfless and because of her wish for organ donation, she will be saving the lives of countless others. Shayna's smile, love, intelligence, creativity, whit, temper, and humor will all be greatly missed by her parents; Shannon D. Pulliam, (father), Jaime L. Gollmer-Pulliam (stepmother), and LaSonya R. Beckley (mother); siblings, Shannon B. Pulliam (brother), and Sophia A. Pulliam (sister). She is also survived by her grandparents; Bobby Pulliam, Mary L. Pulliam, Sharon Thurman, Darrel Beckley, along with Nancy Gollmer, aunts; Rachel Gladney and Elisha L. Pulliam, uncles; Bobby A. Pulliam, Willie E. Veasley, Glen D. Veasley, Desean G. Robinson, Jemele Robinson, Kenneth B. Pulliam, along with Gerald W. Gollmer.
