Katherine Younk

Katherine Ann (Kipp) Younk, age 71, of Green Bay, passed away on July 2, 2016 at a local hospital after a long battle with Leukemia and Muscular Dystrophy. She was born an only child to the late Louise and Lloyd Kipp in Iron Mountain, Michigan on January 16, 1945. Katherine graduated from Wausau East High School in 1963. She married Dennis Younk on June 6, 1969 at Grace United Church of Christ in Wausau, Wisconsin. Kathy retired from Northeast WI Technical College after numerous years of working the majority of her career as an administrative support for Police Science and then in the Trades and Technical Department for the last few years. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; two children, Kip (Tracy) Younk of Madison and Kelley Younk of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Logan, Emma, and Kenzy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Lloyd Kipp; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harry and Beatrice Younk. Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching them play sports, having lunches with friends, trips to the casino, reading, and baking.
