Evelyn Elaine Massner

Mrs. Evelyn Elaine Massner, 75, of rural Burlington died at 6:16 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born March 17, 1941 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Joseph and Minnie (Zaugg) Siegle. On August 22, 1965 she married Dale E. Massner at Oakville Apostolic Christian Church. Mrs. Massner was a graduate of Oakville High School and the University of Iowa. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Massner was a member of Oakville Community Church and St. John's Church of Flint River Township. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, feeding the birds, stamping, and card making. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Dale Massner of rural Burlington; three sons, Keith (Catherine O'Sullivan) Massner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dwayne (Kelly Hahn) Massner of Strasburg, Colorado and Scott (Sammi Murray) Massner of Center Point, Iowa; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
