Norman Ralph Waddle

Norman Ralph Waddle, age 84 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Newton Healthcare in Newton. Private graveside services will be held at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Memorials may be directed to either the Prairie City or Monroe Fire Department or Ambulance Fund. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The son of Ralph and Margery (Webster) Waddle, Norman was born on June 18, 1932, in Marion County, Iowa. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1951. On December 18, 1954, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Butler in Pella. Norman worked at Pella Corp for 35 years and farmed. He enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows to listen to music and visit with friends, attending farm auctions, gardening and going to the Iowa State Fair.
