Jo Campbell, 85, of Glenwood, IA, wife of Dr. William Campbell, passed away July 27, 2016 in Rochester, Minnesota. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 31, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials: Directed to the Glenwood Public Library Children's Department. Joan Josselyn Campbell, one of four children of Gerald Murray and Neva Jane (Josselyn) Larimer, was born on September 15, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from high school, she continued her education, graduated with a degree in education from Drake University, and taught grades Kindergarten through 8th. Jo and Dr. William Edward Campbell were united in marriage on July 26, 1952 in Des Moines. They were blessed with three sons, Greg, Steve, and Doug. The family moved to Glenwood, Iowa when her husband William became the Superintendent at the Glenwood State Hospital-School. Clinic Hospital-St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, Minnesota on July 27, 2016, at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother John "Jack" Larimer; and sister Virginia Larimer in infancy. Jo is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years William Campbell of Glenwood; sons, Greg Campbell, Steve Campbell and wife Genelle, and Doug Campbell, all of Glenwood; grand-kids, Ben Sieck, Ryan Campbell, Meagin Campbell-Wallis, and Joey Campbell; great grand-kids, Kyhler Campbell, Josselyn Wallis, and William Campbell VIII; sister Jane Galvin of Overland Park, KS; nieces, nephews and extended relatives; and a host of friends.
