Carl R. Guillaume

Carl R. Guillaume, age 72, of Hobart, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born on December 13, 1943, in Moon, WI, to the late William & Helen (Springer) Guillaume. Carl worked for Paper Converting for over 25 years. He also owned and operated Carl's Tree Service for over 40 years. He had a strong work ethic and always held multiple jobs. He instilled his hard work ethic into his daughters. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an infantryman during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969 in the Americal Division where he received multiple Purple Heart's and the Bronze Star for Valor. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America chapter # 224 and attended Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking and metal working. Carl was a very giving man who always put others before himself. He donated time and money to multiple charities including those who help veteran's. Carl is survived by his wife, Denise Guillaume; daughters, Stefanie Guillaume and Jennifer (Louis) Guillaume-Carrano; siblings, Donald, Wilfrid, Wilmer, Ralph, Jerome, Eugene, Wayne and Margaret; and the mother of his children, Karen Guillaume. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay. Military honors to follow. The Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 214 will perform a memorial service at 5:45 pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
