Sarah Nicole Marks (Sar Bear), age 26, of Green Bay, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, after a courageous four-year battle with bipolar disorder. We know that our merciful Lord reached down to Sarah in her moment of greatest need, and whispered "Come with Me." Please know that she was not bipolar Sarah, she was Sarah, a beautiful child of God that had bipolar disorder. Sarah devoted a year of her life to serve God at Rockford Master's Commission. Her life passion was working with people with developmental disabilities. Sarah dedicated her time and love volunteering in communities across the country. She was the assistant volunteer coordinator for the Miracle League, volunteered for the Special Olympics, Aspiro, worked with the homeless in Chicago, hurricane relief in Texas, and Habitat for Humanity. Everyone loves Sarah, she made everyone feel special and touched everyone's heart with her ridiculous laugh. nd uncles, Kim (David) Wolfmeyer, Kristin (Mark) Weinstock, James (Jill) Kocian, Terri (Randy) Joski, Michelle (Kevin) Schaetz and Melani (Rich) Vanden Avond. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald Marks and Judith Niermann, her uncle, Richard "Chippy" Kocian and the love of her life, Patrick Deuso. Visitation for Sarah will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Visitation will continue after 10:00 am on Tuesday at Living Hope Church, 1840 West Mason Street, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with the Pastor Mike LeClaire officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. The family sincerely hopes that our loss may help other families affected by bipolar disorder to understand the severity of this disease and to assist them with their struggle.
