Joyce M. Walton
Joyce M. Walton, age 89, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Spring House Estates in Lower Gwynedd, PA. Born in Clairton, PA, Joyce was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (nee Dvorznak) DeCourcy. She was a graduate of Clairton High School and Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA. She resided in Greenville, PA and Erie, PA before moving to Whippany, New Jersey where she attended Columbia University in New York for Health Care Administration. She was a licensed nursing home administrator for 18 years at Crestwood Nursing Home in Whippany. After she retired in 1989 she moved to Flourtown, PA. Mrs Walton was a member of St Thomas Episcopal Church, Whitemarsh and had served as an usher, parish receptionist and was a member of Gateways and Speeders. Joyce was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert McKeag, in 1983, and C. James Walton, in 2015. Joyce is survived by her beloved daughter Kathleen Comly and her husband Albert of Ambler; and her devoted sons, Robert McKeag and his wife Annette of Fairfax, Virginia; and Michael McKeag and his wife Kathryn of Las Vegas, Nevada.
