Doloris Meister

Doloris Meister, of Deerbrook, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 81 years old. She was born on December 12, 1934 in Wausau a daughter of the late Herman and Emma (Wolf) Wicke. She married Harold Meister on July 29, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church in Easton. He survives. She dairy farmed with her husband in Pearson and was an amazing cook at home and for several area businesses. She had a heart of gold and often put others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, flowers, canning, fishing, casino trips, camping, restoring old furniture and treasure hunting/thrifting. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three brothers, William, Ernest and Albert. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Tews officiating. Burial will take place in Pearson Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Langlade County Humane Society. "The family would like to thank Drs.
