Michael Vernon Henry Mack, 90, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Snook officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Pomeroy. A visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Michael is survived by his children, Michael Mack Jr. of Burt; Linda Heitz of Bronaugh, MO; Lois Wiese; Laura (Merle) Porter of Fort Dodge; LaVonne Rollins of Inver Grove Heights, MN; Myron (Linda) Mack of Fort Dodge; Marshall (Bobbie) Mack of Sac City; Lorretta (Tom) Bell of Norwalk; Lisa Lane of Des Moines; Linette Johnson of Joplin, MO; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Theodore Mack of Martensdale; and sister, Victoria Kelley of San Diego, CA. er 9, 1926 in Pomeroy. On August 14, 1949, Michael was united in marriage to Edna Naefke in Farnhamville. The couple established their home southeast of Somers. Michael farmed and worked in manufacturing his entire life. The couple later moved to Badger until moving to Fort Dodge in 2010. He especially enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
