William Lee Autry

Mr. Autry never me a stranger and was loved by many. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, collecting hats, old cars and motorcycles. Mr. Autry was a member of the 1968 graduating class of the Lanier High School, where he was a drum major and football player. He was employed at Lanier Memorial Hospital for over 15 years and Shawmut Mill for a number of years, but painting was his passion. He was son of the late William "Shooty" Autry. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary, brother, Jessie Autry; grandson, Fabian Graham; two aunts, Ophelia Langston, Mollie Johnson and one uncle, Tommie Autry. He was a member of Goodsell United Methodist Church.
