Robert Max Mauser, 94, slipped peacefully away on Friday evening, September 30, 2016.
Born in Ellsworth, Kansas on July 31, 1922 to Roy Albert Mauser and Agnes Marie(Barnhart) Mauser, Mr. Mauser attended Kansas State University and served proudly in the US Army during World War II.
As an Operating Engineer in El Paso, Texas, Mr. Mauser was responsible for defining the city's skyline with buildings over twenty stories high. El Paso was home for the Mausers until their move to Plantation, Florida in 1999.
Mr. Mauser is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Viola, and his daughters, Donna (Ron) Wallace and Diana (Dave) Frederickson. A loving and generous grandfather, Mr. Mauser leaves behind two grandsons, Todd and Michael and their families.
Mr. Mauser will be laid to rest at the South Florida Veterans Cemetery in Lake Worth. For all those who knew and loved him, a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
