Deana Marie Robbins Smith, 50, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away at 11:42 A.M., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Keokuk Area Hospital. Deana was born September 11, 1966 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Louis R. and Donna M. Galbreath Robbins. She was united in marriage to Rodrick Smith. He survives. She lived in the Keokuk area all her life. She had been employed at Hy-Vee and Hancock County Nursing Home. She was a member of New Bethel Church. She loved to read her Bible and crochet. Deana was a proud mother of three children Armond (Cirrea) Walker, Shanttell Walker and Dezmond (Cassie) Smith. Deana is survived by husband Rodrick Smith of Keokuk, Iowa; her parents Ray and Donna Robbins of Warsaw, Illinois; three children, Armond (Sierra) Walker of Carthage, Illinois, Shanttell Walker of Keokuk, Iowa and Dezmond (Cassie) Smith, of Keokuk, Iowa; nine grandchildren: Exavier, Dylan, Jayson, A.J., Amiyha, Elisha, Avonte, Dravin, and LaLani Marie; two brothers: Jeff Robbins of BeauPark, California and Deon Robbins of Anaheim, California; two great aunts: Deloris Bradley and Darlene Snively, aunts: Lorraine Perkins, Gail Lewis, Connie Perkins, Joyce McDonald, Pam Bailey; two uncles...[more]

Deana was preceded in death by her grandparents Elroy Jr. and Ecksteine Galbreath and Daniel and Sally Robbins, Uncle Elroy Galbreath. A Celebration of her life will be Friday, October 14, 2016, 1:00 PM at New Bethel Church in Keokuk, Iowa, with Rev. Debra Letcher officiating. Burial will follow at Keokuk National Cemetery. Visitation will be at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 1212 Concert Street Thursday, October 13, 2016 with family meeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
