nd his grandkids and would do anything for his family. Bart was an awesome papa!! He loved watching his grandkids growing up. Mason gave Bart a new reason to live and taught him so much about love and changing the whole family's way of thinking about what love really means. Bart will always be known for helping and giving to others. He definitely had a dry wit, good sense of humor, and was a good friend to all who knew him. Bart suffered a massive stroke and passed away on October 28, 2016 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 65 years, 10 months, and 15 days. He may have been a gruff ol' guy, but his decision to give the gift of life, through organ and tissue donation, will help so many in need. Bart was preceded in death by his father Clyde Bartley; his mother Mary Koonce; stepfather Ervin "Jake" Koonce; father-in-law Don Mason; and brother Darrell Bartley. Bart is survived by his wife of 43 crazy years, Konnie Bartley of Malvern; children, Darren Bartley of Kansas City, MO, Alicia Hagen and husband Brad of Malvern; and Tyler Bartley and Jamie Edwards of Malvern; three rambunctious, lovable grandchildren, Mason, Cooper and Ellie Hagen; mother-in-law LaVon Mason of Grand Island, NE; brother-in-law Scott Mason and wife Glenda of Grand Island; nephews and nieces; extended relatives; and by many, many friends.
