Mark James Schwabe, 63, of Woodinville, WA passed away from an unbearable battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, November 14th, 2016. He was born on March 19th, 1953 in Santa Monica, CA, the son of James Putney Schwabe and Yvonne Marie (DuBord) Sweeney. Mark grew up in Redondo Beach, CA and graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School where you could find him at the beach playing volleyball or surfing the waves. An avid outdoorsy man's man, Mark could most often be found hunting and fishing amongst nature and appreciating this beautiful world we live in. He was an incredible story teller and would share his vast experiences and impart his wisdom with those he treasured. Mark was the most loveable, kind-hearted, welcoming soul. He made you feel comfortable, appreciated, and adored from the moment you entered his life. Believing in relationships for life, Mark would put others before himself - one of the most reliable people you could ever meet. When he moved to Bellevue in 1982, Mark took up boating in addition to his other outdoor activities out on Lake Washington or Lake Sammamish. uncle, brother, son, and dear friend to many; he will be missed. He is survived by his father; sister, Patricia M. Jackson (Robert); brothers, James V. and Michael J. Schwabe; nieces, Cassandra Crealock (Evan), Michelle Schwabe, Keri Schwabe, and Debbi Schwabe; nephews, Brian Jackson and Ryan Schwabe; great nephews, Landon Crealock and Cruz Schwabe; and great nieces, Kaitlyn and Lena Milberger. Remembrances can be made in Mark's name to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Avenue NE, Bothell, WA.
