Charles de la Garza

Charles de la Garza, 15, passed away Monday evening at home and went to be with the Lord. He was born November 8, 2001 in Muncie, the son of Grant and Jennifer (Davis) de la Garza. Charles was a freshman at Delta High School where he played baseball, basketball and football. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family and friends. Charles was a member of Scout Troop #27 DeSoto, Indiana. Survivors include his mom, Jennifer Davis; dad, Grant de la Garza (companion Debra Stewart); brothers, Graham de la Garza (wife Justine), Zachary Yarger and Dominic Yarger; five aunts, Michelle Klett (husband Brian), Tamara Scott (husband Larry), Shelley Wilson (husband Korki), Wendy Stout (husband Kevin) and Anna Shepherd (husband Shane); three uncles, James Davis Jr. (wife Rebecca), Peter Davis (wife Andrea), and Nicholas Davis (wife Rachelle); paternal grandparents, Charles and Mona de la Garza; maternal grandparents, James Sr. and Leah Davis; many cousins and many friends including Kavan Conner, Clare Terry, Logan Newton, Namya Coleman and Kylei Cook.
