Jerome L. "Jerry" Stork, 73, of Hubbard, NE passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hubbard with Father Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Hubbard. Visitation with the family present will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2, 2016, with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. and a Scriptural prayer service at 7:00 P.M., all at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Jerome was born on May 7, 1943 in Sioux City, IA, the son of Lawrence and Marcella (Muff) Stork. He grew up on the family farm near Hubbard and attended school in Hubbard, Emerson Sacred-Heart, and Emerson High School. He married Linda Morrow in 1962 and to this union 5 children were born. The couple later divorced. A sixth child, Jeromy Vedral was born. Jerry married Judy Schulte on March 14, 1981 in South Sioux City, NE. Survivors include his wife, Judy Stork of Hubbard, NE; children, Jim (Sandy) Stork of Hubbard, NE, Jay (Terri) Stork of Bonaire, GA, Jeff Stork (Ruby Lowell) of Jackson, NE, Lisa Stork of Lincoln, NE and Jeromy (Melanie) Vedral of Sioux City, IA; grandchildren, Carrie, Sarah, Dylan, Joshua, Jaimie, Jenna, Jacob, Trent, Ashley, Trevor and Joey; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter (Daisy) Stork of Tekamah, NE; sister, Sylvia Coleman of Minn; brother-in-law, John (Sam) Schulte of Rock Rapids, IA; sister-in-law, Janice Schulte of North Platte, NE; special nephew, Joe Coleman; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marcella Stork; a son, Justin "Bud" Stork; sister, Juanita Goering; and his father and mother-in-law, John and Nellie Schulte.
