Margaret M. Lawson

Margaret M. Lawson, 79, of Brownstown, passed away at 6:16 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born August 8, 1937, in Freetown, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles Robert and Ola Beatrice (Stafford) Davers. Margaret was a member of the Brownstown Christian Church. She retired after working ten years at Dairy Queen in Brownstown. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Larry D. Morgan, Rita (Tracy) Darkis, Ruby (Jim) Tompkins, Rhonda Morgan and Lillie (Tim) Kramer; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Tyler Edward Kramer; and brothers, Jack Davers, Bob Allen Davers, James Davers and Steve Davers. Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday after 11:00 am until time of service.
