Florence R. Barnett, 81, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2016, at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Survivors include her sons, Dean and his wife Terry of Pueblo, CO, Doug and his wife Karen of Fort Dodge; daughters, Laura Spencer and her husband Bob of Fort Dodge, Anita Barnett of Farnhamville, Jody Scheppmann and her husband Brad of Rockwell City; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karol D. Barnett in 2008; parents, Orville and Ida Buck; and her 7 siblings. Florence Ramona Buck was born on September 1, 1935 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. On February 13, 1954, Florence was united in marriage to Karol D. Florence loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. She will be forever cherished in her family's memories.
