delivered many local babies over the years, including some of her own grandchildren. Maxine was involved in many activities throughout her life, from baking and canning, to traveling and spending time with her precious family. Beware of Maxine when playing cards, as she was very competitive; as she was with all games, including the family Christmas gift exchange. She was known for her beautiful crocheted blankets that she gave as gifts to her children and grandchildren for all of their milestones. She took pride in the fact that she learned how to swim at the age of 70 years old. Left to cherish her memory are her children; two daughters, Vicki (Jim) Hill and Cindy (Tom) Chapman, and a son, Brad; grandchildren: Laura (Doug), Jeff, James (Mindy), Sara, Molly (Jason), Adam (Jamie), Melissa, Jacob, Sadie (Lennon), and Anna; great-grandchildren: Rebecca (John), Seth, Sydney, Wade, Ava, Ella, Izak, Sam and Truman; great-great grandchildren: Grayson, Owen, and Penelope; and her brothers, Maurice and Richard (Ann). Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bruce (of 69 years), a son, Gregory Allen, and her siblings Pearl, Louis, Dorothy, and Dennis.
