Paula M. O'Connor

Paula M. O'Connor, 60, of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home. A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Paula is survived by her son, Morgan O'Connor of Fort Dodge; daughter, Kelsey O'Connor of Denver, CO; brother, Bruce George of South Sioux City, NE; sister, Erin George and her husband Bob Green of Minneapolis, MN; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Janette (Westberg) George. Paula Marie George was born September 28, 1956, in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge public schools, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1974. She continued her education and graduated from Iowa Central Community College. Following graduation, Paula began her career in computer programming and database management, working for Land O' Lakes, in Minneapolis and in Fort Dodge, and most recently for Iowa Central Community College.
