Amelia M. Roberts, 91 passed away Jan. 7, 2017

Amelia was born and raised in Fairmout Philadelphia, PA to the late Pasquale and Antonia Demitrio.

Amelia also was predeceased in death by her husband Nicholas Roberts, brothers; Frank and Tony Demitrio and granddaughter Nicole.

Amelia is survived by her daughters; Donna (Dean) Otto, Diane (Dave) Giroux, and Mary (Bill) Roberts, grandchildren; Michele, Heather, Joey, and Jimmy; great grandchildren; Rylie, Nicholas and Alexis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; family and friends.

Amelia was a member of Gesu Parish in Fairmount Philadelphia; she graduated from J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. Amelia married Nicholas Roberts in 1949

The great joys of Amelia’s summers were those days on the beach of 59th and West Ave in Ocean City, NJ.

Amelia opened her beach house to all her friends and family where everlasting   memories were created and will be cherished forever by everyone.

She was well known for her strong personality and strong will to do things “her way”. At the end, of Amelia’s life she was loved by all.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10 am at Church of the Resurrection, 200 Tuckahoe Rd, Marmora, NJ 08223 with a Luncheon to follow.
