Edith Ida Cristina

Edith I. Cristina 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away, December 9, 2009. She was born January 15, 1925 in New York. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1975, shortly thereafter, she started a church in her home, Community Life Center Full Gospel Assembly of God, where she remained a member until her death. She spent over 50 Years teaching Sunday school and for 18 years held a Bible study in her home. She had a real love for people and a very giving spirit. She is survived by her brother Joseph Mirtha Diglio of Miami, Florida, her, sister Mary Attwood of San Antonio, Texas: Children, John and Ginger, Gary and Christine Cristina, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Cristina. Visitation will be Friday December 11th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Community Life Center 19048 Edgewater Drive, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948.
