Frances Baker Hager

FRANCES BAKER HAGER passed away Sunday, January 24th 2010, at the Harbour Health Center at South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL. Fran was born in Darden, MS on April 7, 1909. She lived most of her life in Chicago, IL, alongside her beloved husband and Minister the late John Henry Jax Hager. She was the cherished mother of the late Hager Twins, John and Jim, best known for their part on the infamous television music comedy HEE HAW. Fran is survived by two granddaughters, Mandy Hukkanen, CA, and Jessyca Dawn Hager, and her mother, Catherine Hayward, Nashville, TN and great niece, Elizabeth Eve Robinson and husband William Robinson Jr., Smithfield, VA, and great nephew Ken Hager. Fran's last wishes were for everyone to sound the trumpets and play music in celebration of her life. There will be no service at her request. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to either Tidewell Hospice, 12034 North Access Rd, Port Charlotte, FL 33981, 941-548-2300 or the Lee Co. Habitat for Humanity.
