Joyce Lynn Gallagher (Nee Garrity) November 21st, 1960-July 14th, 2012 Joyce Lynn Gallagher, a beloved daughter, sister and aunt passed away at her home Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Venice, Florida surrounded by her best friend Allyson Sears and her sister Jean Beurkens. She fought a courageous battle against cancer with grace, strength and dignity. Joyce was born in Washington, DC. and graduated from Bladensburg High School. Joyce worked in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years. Joyce was the cruise queen and loved spending time at the beach and gardening. Joyce is survived by her mother Mary Garrity of Tampa and father Eugene Garrity of Maryland, sister Jody Poore (Billy), their children Michelle and Shannon, sister Jean Beurkens and her children Jacqueline and Ryan, brother James Garrity and son James, brother John Garrity; great nephews Dylan, Antonio and Conlin, great nieces Isabella, Sofie and Charlotte, and her dog Sasha.
