Carlos D. Gould Carlos D. Gould, 36, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away, March 26, 2010. He was born October 3, 1973 in Sarasota, FL and spent all his life in this area. Carlos graduated from Port Charlotte High School in 1992 and in 1997 "ran away with the circus", working for Robert's Brothers Circus for a season. He was a City of Punta Gorda employee for sixteen years and was currently the Supervisor of Wastewater Treatment. He enjoyed being a soccer coach and was state certified as both a coach and a referee. From 2007 to 2009 he was the President of the Punta Gorda Soccer Club. He had just started this season as the coach of the U12 Boys Competitive Soccer Team for Charlotte Premier. He is survived by his wife, Rosalynn Gould and daughter, Mercedes Taylor, both of Punta Gorda, FL; mother, Debra Verba and her partner Joanne of Hendersonville, NC; father, David Gould, Sr and his wife Pat of Sarasota, FL; brother, David Gould, Jr and his wife Missy of North Port, FL; four nephews and many friends.
