Phyllis J. Smith, born Nov. 26, 1926, formerly Phyllis Scheibenzuber, went home to be with her Lord on May 27, 2016 in Dayton, Ohio. Phyllis was 89 years old.

Phyllis was a member and Elder at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church.
Phyllis was born Phyllis J. Schwab in Dayton, Ohio on November 26, 1926, the only child to Mabel and John Schwab.

Phyllis loved playing the organ, raising dashounds and playing on with her computer. She enjoyed working needlepoint and being a good friend to all she met.
Phyllis J. Smith was preceded in death by her husband USAF Lt. Col. Roger H. Smith who died in 2010 and her parents, Mabel and John Schwab.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Linda (Bill) Hostutler of Kettering, Ohio and Jane (Doug) Mason of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, stepdaughter Shelly (Michael) Rill of New Jersey, seven grandchildren , seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 11:00 from Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, friends will gather from 10:00AM until the time of the service, after the service fellowship will be held at the Church.
