Donald A. MacEachern

Donald A. MacEachern, 86, Englewood, FL, formerly of Townsend, MA died Tuesday March 1, 2016 at his home in the company of loved ones. Born August 27, 1929 in Beverly, MA; he was the son of Daniel A. and Edna (Valcourt) MacEachern. Don was a 1950 graduate of Boston College and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a humble member of The Fellowship for the last 37 years, holding all manner of service positions, including carrying the message behind the walls. Donald leaves his longtime companion Susan Schaufele, his three children, Mary Beth Collins of Nashua, NH, Michael MacEachern of Townsend, MA and Martha and Tom Hart of Goffstown, NH. His grandchildren include Holland Collins, Nicole MacEachern, Marissa and Jacob Smaldone, Tom Hart and Patrick Hart. He is also survived by his three sisters, Jeanne Russell of Waterbury, VT; Anne Pfaff of Beverly, MA and Irene Toma of Bethel Park, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lemon Bay Funeral Home, 2 Buchan’s Landing, Englewood, FL on Saturday April 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
