Robert Moon

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Robert N. Moon, age 79 died on Sunday, January 22. Born in Mason City, Iowa, Bob moved to Seattle in 1963. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 40 wonderful years, Elizabeth Moon, his children: Eva (Mike)Niznik, Greg (Nam Phuong) Moon, Scott (Leslie) Moon, his step-children: John (Kelli Cline) Ramberg, Peter Ramberg, Mary (Scott) Wooley, Julie (Stuart Thomson) Norman, his 7 grandchildren and many close friends from Iowa to Seattle. Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Miller Moon. Bob had a passion for helping others whether it was building homes in New Orleans, volunteering in the homeless shelter at Christ the King or working at the soup kitchen at Blessed Sacrament. Bob will be remembered for his big smile and his even bigger heart. Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 5050 8th Ave. NE., Seattle, WA Wednesday Feb. 1 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul (please specify "Sunday Dinner") or the charity of the donors choice.
