William Edward Davies

William "Bill" Davies, 77, Brooksville, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, January 28, 2017 at the Oak Hill Hospital. He was born October 10, 1939 in Marion, the son of Woodrow Lee and Mary Juanita Davies. Bill was a Journeyman Electrician and worked for G M in Marion for 35 years and retired in 1999. He was a life member of Gas City Masonic Lodge #645 F &AM, the American Legion and U.A.W. Local #977. Mr. Davies was a US Air Force veteran. Survivors include his step-son, Steve (wife Lori) Harmeyer; grandchildren, Scott, Stacie, Seth and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Destinee and Elijah; sister-in-law, Linda (husband Chad) Beckham; brother-in-law, Larry (wife Maria) Threet; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Davies and his parents. Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Nancy Hunt officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
