David W. Meyer

David William Meyer, 63, of LuVerne, IA., passed away at his residence February 14, 2017. David William Meyer was born on February 10, 1954 in Mankato, MN, the son of Robert and Marilyn (Peterson) Meyer. David graduated from San Bernadino High School in 1972. He moved to LuVerne, in the late 80's. David will be fondly remembered for playing his guitar, his love of the great outdoors, hunting and his dry sense of humor. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn L. Dodrill, Woodville, TX; three brothers, Daniel Meyer, North Troy, VT; Dale (Brenda) Meyer, Crestline, CA; Dean Meyer, Mauriceville, TX; brother-in-law David Winegeart, Honey Island, TX; Aunts and Uncles Karen and Tim Jaeger, LuVerne, IA; Lee and Mary Lou Peterson, Banning, CA; Claudia Meyer, Apple Valley, MN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Meyer and sister, Diane L. Winegeart. A private graveside service will be held February 25, 2017, at Jordan Cemetery, Honey Island, TX. [more]
