Randy S. Brandt

Randy S. Brandt, 64 Portage / Sun Prairie Randy Brandt passed away peacefully on February 16, 2017 surrounded by his family at home, 43 days after a diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer. He was born July 1, 1952 in Portage, the child of Howard Brandt and Delores (Shaw) McClyman. He was married to Maria (Corder) Brandt in Waupun on August 14, 1976 and together they raised 2 daughters. A professional truck driver for over 40 years, he traveled across North America and took pride in over 7 million safe miles driven before his retirement last spring. He loved dogs, music, fast cars and supper clubs, but his greatest joy was his family, and the recent birth of his first grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Maria, his daughters, Rebecca (Corey) Williams and Sara (Greg) Schmidt, Grandson Elliot, sister-in-law Maxine Houser and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen (Otis) Pratt and brother Victor. A celebration of Randy's life & luncheon will be held Saturday, February 25th from 11am-2pm at Cress, 1310 Emerald Ter, Sun Prairie, WI. All are welcome to attend.
