Robert Paul was born to Frank A. Paul and Irene Kerscher Paul on June 2, 1923 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School, attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI and Coyne Electric School in Chicago, IL. He went on to work at Leathem D. Smith Shipyard in Sturgeon Bay as a shipyard welder. Bob worked at Staff Electric Co. in Milwaukee as a Journeyman electrician and then as an electrician at Fort Howard Co. for 35 years where he received his Master Electrician license from the City of Green Bay. Bob married his soulmate, Donna (Marion) Feller on September 10, 1947. They lived in Milwaukee for three years and then moved to Green Bay where they lived on the west side. They were members of St. Agnes Parish and later became members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish where Bob was an usher for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and skiing. His kids called him a fixer-upper as he could fix anything; even the girls' jewelry. He often attended the grandkids' swim meets, soccer, softball and volleyball games and concerts. eepshead with his many friends. He also enjoyed the many trips that were taken with Marion. Bob belonged to the Knights of Columbus Vince Lombardi Council, Ft. Howard Quarter Century Club, and the Key Club. He enjoyed volunteering for Red Cross Drives and St. Vincent Life Line. He is survived by his wife, Marion of 69 years; sons, Dan (Mae) Paul, Waupaca, WI; Mark (Victoria) Paul, Santa Barbara, CA; Tom (Bev) Paul, Minnetonka, MN; daughters, Mary (Jeff) Meehl, Green Bay; Lori Paul, Green Bay; ten grandchildren, Tara (Dave) Everson, Sonja (Andrew) Boca, Chad (Erica) Paul, Matt (Kari) Paul, Alexandra Paul and her fiancé, Ben Ligon, Jackie (Casey) Dewalt, Nick Paul and special friend, Lauren Jones, Nicole Gildernick, Trisha Vertz, and Tony (Abby) Meehl; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Heim and Mary Jane Moore; his sister-in-law, Lil Paul; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Jana, Trisha and Krystal. A special thank you also to all of the care givers at Brookview Meadows, Bellin Health Cardiology and Associates and Green Bay Oncology for the compassionate care given to Robert. A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name.
