Debra Copeland

Mrs. Debra A. Copeland, 56, of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. Debra was born in Seymour on November 26, 1960 to Roger D. and Naomi Joyce (Polley) Mellencamp. She married Curt R. Copeland on July 25, 1981 in Seymour She is a graduate of the SHS Class of 1979. She was child of God and a great and faithful servant of the Lord. She worked at Schneck Medical Center for 22 years in the lab as a courier. She enjoyed her grand kids, gardening, flowers and being outside. Debra is survived by her husband and children: Alicia (Bryce) Utt and Josh (Elizabeth) Copeland, Father: Roger Mellencamp, brother: Todd (Donna) Mellencamp, grand kids: Brycen, Alex and Mailey, mother in law: Marge Kovener, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be at Voss Chapel on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Brother Steve Muster officiating. Burial will follow at Robertson Cemetery. Friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 3 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
