Joshua John Molter, formally of Verona, WI, passed away unexpectedly of unknown causes in Brookfield, WI on February 24, 2017 at the age of 34. Josh was born in Berrien Center, MI on what was Good Friday, April 9, 1982. Josh is survived by his fiancé and future life partner Jessica Edward of Brookfield. Additional survivors are his parents, Jay and Sue Molter of Verona, and sisters Tessa Molter (Zachary Steinberg) of Seattle, WA and Maggie Molter Pascaly (Andy Pascaly) of Fitchburg. He is also survived by a nephew and niece he dearly cared for, Asher and Lilah Steinberg of Seattle, WA. Josh also is survived by his grandmother Nance Kurdelmeyer and grandfather William Kurdelmeyer of Dowagiac, MI as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Michigan, Canada, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee who mourn his passing. Josh attended Verona Area Schools where he formed many lasting friendships, especially those on the Verona High School hockey team where he was their goaltender, and the VHS tennis team. Josh continued in the property development field and currently worked as Director of Real Estate Development for Impact Seven in Milwaukee. Josh's passion was in creatively designing land parcels to match the community and neighborhood, and bring value to those living in and around his projects. A visitation to share memories of Josh will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 110 N. Whitney Way, Madison. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church with a visitation at 9am and a funeral service at 10am. Interment will be for family members. Josh was a dog lover and leaves behind his Brittany Spaniel, Nigel and Cocker Spaniel, Cooper. Josh was a supporter of youth hockey and volunteered as a coach for the Middleton Lynx girls hockey team and recently with the Milwaukee Admirals girls hockey program. To further support youth hockey for kids that may not be able to participate financially, those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Josh's memory may contribute to the Jingles Obrien Scholarship Fund.
