Robert "Bob" D. Rahn, 83, of Jackson, NE passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jackson. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in South Sioux City. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City. Bob was born on November 22, 1933 in rural Newcastle, NE, the son of Walter and Katie (Sorensen) Rahn. He graduated from Ponca High School. Bob married Margaret Heenan on June 13, 1953 at St. Patrick's Church in Jackson. He owned and operated 20th Street Service Center at 20th & Pierce in Sioux City, IA for forty years with his son.
