Gary Hjalmer Irons

Gary Irons, age 68 of Buffalo Center passed away October 3, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Mason City. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Monday October 7, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake with Pastor Herb Kenyon officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at West Cemetery in Rake. Gary Irons was born February 23, 1945 to Hjalmer and Bertha (Badje) Irons in Swea City, IA. On October 8th he married Bonnie Beckius at the First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth, MN. Gary worked very hard and enjoyed farming for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchild. Gary is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, son; Gary, Jr. (Nancy), daughter; Tracey Eyanson (finance Tim Mattison), his grandchildren; Brooke, Bridget, Thomas, Jesse and Rhiannon, great grandchildren; Breyleigh and Jackson, sister; Linda (Robert) Hofmann, brothers; Eugene (Sharon) and John (Karen).
