Robert F. "Can Do" Trapp, 85, Muncie, passed away Saturday evening, April 1, 2017, at Bethel Pointe Health Care. He was born October 18, 1931, in Havana, Illinois, the son of Fay and Dorothy (O'Grady) Trapp. Bob treasured and adored his loving wife and angel of 62 years. Bob and Carolyn enjoyed traveling and dancing together. He also enjoyed telling stories and singing to his grandchildren. Bob was an avid reader with a passion for learning. He was an extraordinary person who lived life to the fullest with a positive "can do" attitude. He touched many lives with his attitude and unique sense of humor. Bob was philosophical, compassionate and a fighter and he marched to the beat of his own drum. He successfully owned and operated his accounting business for 45 years. Bob served his country four years as an Auditor General in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. His memberships include being a lifetime member of the Elks Country Club and Muncie Noon Optimist Club. He enjoyed exercising, loved to play Poker and enjoyed spending time with his family. t (husband Tom), Cindy Calvin (husband Warren), and Staci Bemis (husband Mike); six grandchildren, Bridgette Privett (husband Shawn), Michael Calvin (wife Sandy), Kristen Gordon (husband Noah), Jack Hood, Scott Russell (fiance Aly), and Emily Russell; two great-grandchildren, Parks Groninger and Nicole Privett; his twin sisters, Helena Littell and Colleena Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Tatum Hood. At Bob's request, he will be cremated. Bob did not want people to mourn his death but to celebrate his life. If compelled please send a note or story to his loving wife, Carolyn at Bethel Pointe. His family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Bethel Pointe and to Heart to Heart Hospice, especially Christy for bringing peace and comfort to Bob's family.
