Averell H. Lucy
Averell H. Lucy, age 59, of Madison, WI, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, April 16, 2017. Averell Howard Lucy was born on August 30, 1957 in Chicago, IL, the son of Arthur James and Juanita McZier Lucy. Averell graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Degree on December 23, 1994. He worked for Anchor Bank in Madison and then as a supervisor for Hewlett Packard in Madison. While attending the University of Wisconsin, Averell played on the UW Football team in the 1970's as a tackle. Averell was a very social person and enjoyed watching all Badgers teams, the Blackhawks, Bears and the CUBS. Averell is survived by: his mother Juanita Shepherd of Burlington, WI (Lake Ivanhoe); a son, Spencer Lucy of Appleton, WI; stepsister, Mary Knox of Shreveport, LA and step brother, Jerry Shepherd of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur James Lucy and his stepfather, David L.
