Lyle Rienks

Verona – Lyle F. Rienks, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017, at Heritage Senior Living, Middleton.  He was born July 29, 1934 in Sparta, WI, the son of Jacob and Gladys Rienks.  Lyle married Patsy Syverson on June 25, 1955, and together they had three daughters.  They enjoyed together many summers camping on their Lake Camelot property, and many winters at their home in The Villages, FL.  He also loved spending time at Ft. Myer’s beach.

Lyle had a very successful painting career where he was a partner who owned and operated Capitol Decorating of Madison, WI.  When he wasn’t hard at work he enjoyed tending to his flowers and yard, playing cards and watching Wisconsin sports with Patsy.  He was also known for his handyman skills which will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at ST. JAMES EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 427 South Main Street, Verona, with Pastor Kurt Billings officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial at Verona Cemetery at a later date.
