Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Marilee (nee Scott), his son, Brent, of Fairview Park, his daughter, Melissa (Scott) MIleti, of Middleburg Heights, his first wife, Maureen (Bill) Fletcher, his sister, Ellie, and his nieces and nephews. Ron will be dearly missed by his beloved 6 cats and 3 dogs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (nee Nemeth) Beregszazy, his step-father, Art Beregszazy, and his father, Harold Westcott.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of Ron's life, on Thursday, April 13, at 10:00 am, at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. Military honors will be provided by the Amherst Honor Guard following the gathering, at 11:00am.
Because of his deep love of animals, the family encourages that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any shelter, charity, or organization that assists animals in need.
